X-band Pyramidal Horn with 21dB Gain at 10GHz – HFSS Design

Slide image
Slide image

This item simulates the performance of a conventional pyramidal horn in ANSYS HFSS. The structure is simulated in X-band (8GHz~12GHz) and the realized gain of the antenna is 21dB at 10GHz. The input of the antenna is a standard WR-90 waveguide.

The simulation is fully parameterized and the user can change the parameters and optimize the antenna according to the user’s needs.

There are two simulation files: a) complete structure, b) quarter of the structure which uses E- and H- symmetry boundaries. The user can download the bundle which includes both of the simulation files.
